Job Description is looking for a Senior Electronics (System) Engineer who will take a key role on our team for the development of a virtual tour creation automation solution. The suitable candidate is expected to have an electronics engineering background, familiar with control concepts, different communications and connectivity solutions, programming, robotics, and modular design. Project and team management, cost evaluation and optimization, documentation skills and effective communication with all parties (software and hardware developers, suppliers and manufacturers) are required.


● Managing system design and prototype development of the VR tour creation robot including but not limited to: 
– Chassis, wheels, and tracks as the moving base 
– Extendable pole to hold the camera tripod head 
– 360deg rotating head capable of carrying a DSLR or a 360deg camera 
– Electronics to control movement, extension, and rotation of the base, pole and tripod head 
– Distance, tilt and azimuth measurement and locating units 
– Wired and wireless communications modules for interconnection of system units, local and remote control of the system and online image and video transfer 
– Power supply, batteries and charging units 
● Managing the interface and UI development for system to PC and phone or tablet connection
● Purchasing, ordering and negotiating with suppliers and third-party manufacturers 
● Making sure to meet all system design expectations including cost, weight and portability, design flexibility, plug and play and easy assembling/disassembling capability and power consumption limits 
● Documentation and guideline preparation 
Must have 
● B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering or electronics 
● Embedded system hardware and software design experience 
● Knowledge of communications and connectivity standards (USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, UMTS, and LTE) 
● Familiar with servo and stepper motors, their drivers and robotics 
● Proven capability of team start-up 
● Project management experience, including time, cost and human resource (including remote teams) management skills 
● Proven analytical and problem-solving ability
